This Women's History Month, get inspired by Olympian Alysia Rissling’s journey as she teaches you to dream big and shows how you use short-term goals to achieve your long-term vision, by creating a vision board. Vision boards are an exceptional way to create an understanding of the pathway to get to our long-term goals (5-10 years out) by creating a form of accountability to check in regularly to see if we’re moving in the right direction. We will talk about the importance of anticipating challenges, finding a great support team, staying focused and motivated, and tips on how to remain confident even if we don’t hit our targets in this deeply motivating experience!
What you need to bring to the experience?
- A paper and a writing utensil to develop your vision board framework
- Scrapbooking paper and markers are also recommended (You may end up drawing photos that depict your vision!)
What to expect on the day of experience
The session will start by sharing the Olympian's journey, from where her first long-term goals were set in the 5th grade, to how she had to persevere through obstacles and continue to stay driven to get to her big goal. To properly follow the journey, you’ll have to understand how bobsled works, so we’ll also be sharing videos and pictures that will give you a whole new appreciation for the fastest sport on ice. Throughout the session, participants will discover how to assemble the pathway that will direct their dreams into goals. In groups of under 10 people, expect to be prompted to share your big long-term goal (5-10 years away) but there is NO PRESSURE to speak up if you’re shy!

Additional Information
This is an interactive session where participants are encouraged to share their vision, and we collaborate on the framework to bring it to life. For smaller groups (under 10 people), we will take time to share the participants’ goals and work to identify steps that can be added to their board. In larger groups (11 people+) the experience will be more like a keynote speech, with time for Q & A session at the end.

Thought this was really fun and the MC was great and kept things upbeat! I do wish these were trivia questions rather than "we asked 100 people". some of the questions the answers felt a bit repetitive. One last thing to note is I think the graphics could be more sleek/modern as it seems a bit dated. Overall it was a great experience. Thank you!

Denis Maronga was an absolute blast! From describing quirky household items to the contagious laughter of guessing games, our remote team was fully engaged.
